Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Design Automation Engineer role located in Pune. The Design Automation Engineer will focus on tasks including designing and developing automated systems and processes, conducting machine and systems analysis, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and leveraging advanced engineering principles to optimize automation workflows. The role involves creating and refining designs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring solutions meet performance and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Design, Automation, and EDA tools and processes
- Design and develop electrical / mechanical panels, systems, or components as per project requirements
- Prepare 2D & 3D drawings, layouts, and BOM using CAD software
- Modify designs based on client specifications and site requirements
- Coordinate with production, panel wiring, and project teams for execution
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety norms
- Support testing, installation, and commissioning activities
- Maintain proper design documentation and revision control
- Assist in cost estimation and material selection
Requirements:
- Diploma / BE in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation Engineering
- 25 years of experience in design engineering (automation / panel / industrial projects preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of PLC panels, control panels, or industrial automation systems
