Hiring for a Leading Machine Manufacturing Company Ahmedabad
Position: Design Estimation Engineer
Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad
Industry: Machine Manufacturing
Salary: Hike on Current CTC
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 35 Years
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekly Off: Sunday
Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D, 3D GA drawings as per project requirements
Develop and maintain accurate BOMs (Bill of Materials)
Prepare cost estimations and material calculations
Coordinate with Production, Project, Purchase Quality teams
Provide technical support during manufacturing and assembly
Review and update drawings as per engineering changes
Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and specifications
Verify dimensions, tolerances, and technical accuracy
Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or similar software
Strong knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes
Experience in BOM preparation and estimation activities
Understanding of fabrication, machining, and assembly operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and cross-functional coordination abilities
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in machine manufacturing or industrial equipment design
Strong understanding of manufacturing feasibility and cost optimization
Detail-oriented with excellent technical documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
