Qualifications & Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with ANSYS Workbench (structural & thermal modules).
- Sound knowledge of Finite Element Analysis concepts (meshing strategies, boundary conditions, convergence checks, result interpretation).
- Understanding of design codes (ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 & 2, TEMA, API).
- Programming/scripting ability in Python or C#.NET for simulation automation.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication and report-writing skills.

Role and Responsibility:
FEA & Simulation;
- Perform linear and nonlinear FEA using ANSYS Workbench for static, thermal, and buckling analysis of process equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, and reactors.
- Conduct fatigue, creep, and fracture analysis as per project requirements.
- Evaluate stress distribution, deformation, and safety margins in compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASME, TEMA, API, etc.).
- Perform modal and dynamic analysis when required for vibration-sensitive equipment.
Client & Team Collaboration:
- Translate client requirements into accurate simulation models and ensure clear documentation of assumptions, methodology, and results.
- Communicate technical findings effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support Lead Engineers in managing multiple concurrent simulation projects while maintaining quality and timelines.
