Design & proposal Engineer

Functional Area

•  Converting client requirement into technically sound, cost effective and comparative proposals.
•  Techno-commercial bid preparation and RFQ analysis
•  FRP equipment design and calculation as per standards
•  Process-based material selection and solution design
•  BOM preparation and project cost optimization
•  Datasheets, drawings, and compliance documentation
•  Technical coordination with clients and BDM team
•  Ensuring adherence to ASME/ASTM/industry norms
•  Design handover and cross-functional execution support 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals for FRP products such as tanks, vessels, scrubbers, ducts, and piping systems.
•  Perform design calculations considering mechanical loads, chemical compatibility, and applicable standards.
•  Review RFQs, technical specifications, and client requirements
•  Develop and review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOQ.
•  Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams for costing and feasibility analysis.
•  Ensure designs and proposals comply with relevant international standards
•  Communicate with clients for technical clarifications and value engineering
•  Provide support during project execution phase if required
•  Able to read tender documents and prepare offer accordingly.
