About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven leader to spearhead our Merchant Loan B2C business. This role combines expertise in merchant lending with consumer-centric approaches, focusing on scaling credit offerings, ensuring portfolio quality, and driving profitability across the B2C merchant segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and expand the Merchant Credit B2C business across geographies.
- Drive merchant acquisition and credit disbursal, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
- Collaborate with product, risk, technology, and operations to design scalable merchant credit products for B2C customers.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as portfolio growth, delinquency rates, and customer retention.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal credit/risk guidelines.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales & credit operations team.
- Liaise with leadership and external partners to innovate and enhance B2C credit offerings.
Requirements:
- 1015 years of experience in credit, lending, or merchant/B2C finance, with leadership exposure.
- Deep understanding of merchant and B2C credit ecosystems, underwriting, and risk management.
- Proven ability to scale business operations while maintaining portfolio quality.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and familiarity with fintech or digital credit platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
