Job Purpose
Compliance testing Perform Compliance testing of various products and processes. Determine scope & testing methodology in line with the Compliance testing plan, perform testing, discuss & obtain responses with action plan and present the results to Senior Management.
Duties And Responsibilities
Data analytics- Compliance Monitoring and Testing
Compliance Function plays a central role in identifying the level of Compliance risk in the organization. The compliance function comprises of Regulatory correspondence team, Advisory team and Compliance Monitoring & Testing (CMT) team. The incumbent will be part of data analysis team under CMT team to build the data analysis capabilities within compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop, maintain SQL queries for data extraction/reporting and periodically update these logics in case any changes in the processes or guidelines..
- Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy of reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with compliance team and other stakeholders to design and implement standard reports, exception reports/SQLs etc that support compliance team for planning, execution, and reporting.
- Ensuring timely delivery of standard scheduled reports/SQLs and cater adhoc requirements.
- Develop Compliance dashboards, to support both periodic testing and continuous monitoring.
- Exploring automation of existing compliance related processes to ensure further improvement.
- Communicating data structure with compliance team to help them plan their data requirements
Build analytical capabilities across the Compliance team, including training on tools, data literacy, and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications And Experience
Education and work experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
Key skills
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
- Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of business KPIs and metrics.
