Role Purpose
The Deputy Regional Manager – Marketing will be responsible for managing the entire region, leading a team of Territory Managers (TMs), and driving sustainable business growth aligned with organizational objectives.
Achievement of AOBP and Business Excellence
- Achievement of annual sales budget with key focus on strategic product and improvement in market share. Out-grow the market and deliver financial performance in line and above of budget commitment for Net Sales, OPEX, DSO, Liquidation and Seed, Agri Equipment Net Sales.
- Improve forecast accuracy, Drive flexible spend philosophy and targets without limiting short- and long-term growth opportunities. Control of channel inventory and maximize benefit from CMI.
Commercial Excellence
- Implementation of regional standard processes in the Regions to establish new Business Excellence Tools (MINE, CMI) at all levels.
- Commercial skills enhancement
- Drive synergies from Seed and Agri Equipment Portfolio.
People Management
- Grooming a team of skilled managers & support staff full of highest level of morale and competitiveness ready to take on adverse business conditions and competition.
- Establish an optimum team which is motivated and committed in the planning and achievement of Company's objectives.
- Build a high performing team with a proactive business-oriented approach and encourage coaching culture with implementation of Talent Management Tools.
- Guide and prepare the employees towards change and demonstrate leadership to organize effective and profitable business.
Liaison
- Liaison with different government departments and agricultural institutions
- Ensure sufficient system/controls for effective communication and networking within the Region.
- Building the relationships and networking with professional/ individual forums, executives of other companies.
Brand pull
- Optimal use of resources to achieve the sales objectives with high quality demand generation activities.
Compliance, QHSE & Safety
- Ensure business within applicable law and regulations. Further enforce QHSE management system and road safety culture.
