Role Description The Deputy Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for supporting end-to-end project delivery across construction and related services. This role assists the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily site activities, ensuring work progresses according to scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards. The Deputy Project Manager monitors site execution, reviews progress reports, and helps manage resources, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain smooth operations. The role includes regular communication with internal teams and clients, addressing project risks, documenting project status, and ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and company policies. The Deputy Project Manager also contributes to the implementation of technology-driven project management tools, supports continuous process improvements, and helps maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong project coordination and construction management skills, including experience with scheduling, resource allocation, and site supervision.
  • Ability to work with technology-driven tools such as project management software, smart construction systems, and building information modeling platforms.
  • Solid understanding of civil or industrial construction processes, quality standards, safety regulations, and relevant codes.
  • Proficient in documentation, reporting, and basic data analysis to track progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, internal teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on timely delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a project engineer or assistant/deputy project manager role within the construction sector is preferred.
