JOB DESCRIPTION

The role is responsible for leading, managing, and optimizing warehouse and distribution operations to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing materials and finished goods. The role focuses on inventory governance, review of inventory and surplus stock reports, and planning based on present and future distribution needs. The job role ensures conformity with shipping commitments, evaluates shipping timelines, and drives corrective actions to eliminate delays and inefficiencies. The position oversees receiving, inspection, storage, packing, documentation, inventory reconciliation, and return of defective materials, evaluates distribution and transportation operations, data, and facilities, supports new product introduction distribution, and ensures GMP, GDP, quality compliance, audit readiness, and team performance excellence.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage warehouse and distribution teams, ensuring operational discipline
  • Review and analyse inventory reports and surplus stock lists to improve inventory control
  • Translate current and future distribution needs into actionable operational plans
  • Ensure strict adherence to shipping commitments and service-level agreements
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to address delays and operational gaps
  • Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, and verification of materials and finished goods
  • Ensure proper handling and return of defective, rejected, or expired materials
  • Lead inventory reviews and reconciliation of physical and system stocks
  • Evaluate and improve distribution and transportation operations, data, and facility utilisation
  • Oversee order picking, packing, dispatch, and shipment documentation
  • Ensure accurate recording and traceability of all inbound and outbound movements
  • Drive quality compliance, safety culture, audit readiness, and team capability development

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) BA - Required
  • Master Degree (MBA) MBA - Preferred

Experience:

  • 10 years or more in 10 - 12 Years
