  • Plan and prioritize tooling/fixture and manufacturing technology activities in line with production needs.
  • Design and develop innovative tooling and fixturing to improve fabrication of subassemblies and assemblies of railway wagons, or any other equipment in heavy engineering.
  • Develop welding fixtures and Go/No-Go gauges.
  • Ensure tooling/fixture designs are cost-effective, efficient, safe, and meet all technical requirements.
  • Design tooling/fixtures primarily in 3D using SolidWorks; create detailed 2D drawings/detailing as required for manufacturing.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; Diploma holders may be considered with strong relevant experience.
  • 812 years experience in tooling/fixture design and manufacturing technology for heavy engineering/welded fabrication, including minimum 24 years of team leadership.
