Job Title: Deputy Manager – Sustainability

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate sustainability professional to drive communication, reporting, and program management initiatives aligned with ABFRL's sustainability vision (ReEarth). This role will play a key part in shaping internal and external sustainability narratives while supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sustainability Reporting & Disclosures
- Lead sustainability disclosures including Annual Sustainability Report, Business Responsibility Report, and Integrated Reporting
- Manage reporting frameworks such as GRI, CDP, and NVG
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and present high-quality data
2. Program Management & Strategy
- Support sustainability program planning and execution in line with organizational strategy
- Track progress through monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Drive continuous improvements and course corrections based on insights
3. Benchmarking & New Initiatives
- Conduct gap assessments for global benchmarks such as DJSI and CDP
- Develop improvement roadmaps and support implementation
- Identify opportunities to enhance sustainability performance and reporting
4. Sustainability Communication
- Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies
- Create compelling content including newsletters, case studies, and reports
- Drive sustainability storytelling across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and internal channels
- Build awareness and engagement to embed sustainability into business practices
5. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams across functions to drive sustainability initiatives
- Engage with external stakeholders including auditors, assessors, and industry peers
- Support leadership reviews and sustainability committees with insights and updates
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or corporate responsibility
- Strong understanding of frameworks such as GRI, CDP, and Business Responsibility Reporting
- Experience in sustainability communication and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic business environment
