Position Summary
The Deputy Manager - SPS Clinics will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, driving operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting business growth initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with clinical and non-clinical teams, and a focus on patient satisfaction and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinic Operations Management
- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Monitor patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing, and service delivery processes.
- Ensure optimal utilization of clinic resources, infrastructure, and manpower.
- Implement SOPs and operational best practices across clinics.
- Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate front-office, nursing, and support staff.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.
- Foster a patient-first and service-oriented culture.
- Patient Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure high standards of patient care and customer service.
- Address patient concerns, escalations, and feedback promptly.
- Monitor patient satisfaction scores and implement improvement initiatives.
- Business & Revenue Management
- Support achievement of clinic revenue and operational targets.
- Monitor OPD volumes, conversion rates, and business performance metrics.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for patient engagement and promotional activities.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and operational improvement.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, NABH standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Monitor hygiene, safety, infection control, and facility standards.
- Coordinate audits and compliance reviews.
- Vendor & Inventory Management
- Oversee procurement and inventory management of medical and non-medical supplies.
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor inventory usage and minimize wastage.
- Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare operational MIS reports and performance dashboards.
- Coordinate with doctors, consultants, diagnostic teams, and corporate departments.
- Support management in strategic planning and process optimization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Masters degree (MHA/MBA) preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in clinic, hospital, or healthcare operations.
- Experience in multi-specialty clinics or hospital administration preferred.
