Job Description

• Develop Systems and procedures for organization's sourcing strategy and purchase plan.
• Conduct Market research on fabric and trims for new product development.
• Source materials based on the study about the products of market pioneer brands on national and international level.
• Develop new/ different mix of yarns or fabric with good quality and price and supply based on the requirement for production.
• Searching international suppliers to bring high volume of Raw materials with better quality and better price.
• Regulate the work capital of RM & PM based on the purchase plan.
• Maintain the minimum/optimum/maximum level of RM as per the lead time.
• Control the logistic cost with better transit time.
• Comply with ISO Standards
• Forecasting levels of demand for materials and services in consultation with marketing and production team and ensure timely availability /supply of materials and services.
• Training for Team members

Qualifications

·      B-Tech Degree in Textile Technology

·      Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a similar industry in a middle/senior management position

·      Negotiation Skills

·      Business Acumen

·      Excellent leadership & Communication skill

·      Planning, organizing & Controlling

·      Computer savvy

·      Decision-making skills

Knowledge of SAP & MS Office
