Role Description The Deputy Manager role at SOTC Travel Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal . The Deputy Manager will oversee day-to-day branch operations, including managing sales activities, supervising staff, and supporting the achievement of revenue and profitability targets. This role involves monitoring customer inquiries, ensuring high service standards, and resolving issues to maintain customer satisfaction. The Deputy Manager will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, help design and promote travel packages, and track performance metrics to drive process improvements. The position also includes reporting on business performance to senior management and supporting training and coaching of team members.
Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising staff and coordinating cross-functional activities.
  • Sales and business development capabilities, including target achievement, customer acquisition, and relationship management.
  • Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Operational and administrative skills, including planning, process adherence, reporting, and basic financial understanding.
  • Proficiency with common office software and digital tools used for travel bookings, CRM, and data tracking.
  • Previous experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or related service industries is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Indore, adapt to a dynamic environment, and align with organizational values and compliance standards.

Note- Prior experience in Travel Sales mandatory with strong destination knowledge.
