Job Description

  • Manage and grow Wolters Kluwer Med know s print+ online+ iPad advertising & sponsorship business

  • Monitor competitor publications

  • Finding out the target organizations and contacting the relevant Marketing teams on a regular basis

  • Persuade clients to buy advertising solutions in Print/Online /iPad

  • Explaining the benefits of journals published by Med know, using statistics on readership & demographics

  • Manage existing Accounts & building new client base for the organization

  • In communication with other WK offices, pursue opportunities for special features or supplements irrelevant publications to generate advertising &/or sponsorship revenue

  • Secure sponsorship and advertising for all Med know s portfolio of journals, websites and iPad applications

  • Work closely with the other members of the team to help develop a coherent sales strategy

  • Communicate proactively, openly & directly with management

  • Keep accurate sales records and be able to provide clear revenue figures to management whenever required

  • To ensure weekly/monthly reports & comments are be submitted by relevant deadlines

  • Keep up to date with market information: set up & regularly run market share reports & analysis specific to the assigned territories

  • Liaise effectively with editorial, Med know s production, marketing, web development & finance teams
