Job Description

Sales & Business Development

  • Promote and sell engineered products from international technology partners across India.
  • Develop leads, identify opportunities, and expand sales in refineries, petrochemical plants, and industrial segment.
  • Engage with EPCs, consultants, OEMs, and end users to drive product adoption.

Sales & Business Development

  • Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Understand technical specifications for reactor internals, columns, industrial equipment, and other process-engineering products.
  • Support proposal preparation, tender participation, and techno-commercial discussions.

Relationship Management

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular visits.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and international partners.
  • Represent GEMSL at industry events and exhibitions.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track market trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide sales forecasts and regular updates to management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related engineering field.
  • 37 years of technical sales experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Process industries.
  • Experience with reactors, columns, internals, or similar process equipment preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding and customer-handling skills.
  • Prior experience with industrial customers, refineries, EPCs, or OEMs is an advantage.

  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results.
  • High initiative, customer focus, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related engineering field.
  • 37 years of technical sales experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Process industries.
  • Experience with reactors, columns, internals, or similar process equipment preferred.
