Job Description
- Candidate must have work experience of Medium Voltage/High Voltage switchgear R&D and Mechanical designs & drawings and demonstrated his/her capabilities for the development of MV Switchgear in past.
- Candidate should have experience to carry out the type tests in CPRI/ERDA/International labs.
- Candidate should have experience of Sheet Metal/ Fabrication parts & manufacturing drawings
- Candidate must have hands-on experience in 3D solid modeling in Solid works / Autodesk Inventor / Solid edge / UG.NX / Creo or any other 3D software.
(Solid works / Solid edge will be added advantage)
- Should have hands-on experience of AutoCAD 2D drawings, layout of medium voltage GIS in 2D
- Should have knowledge of design optimization and VAVE.
- Candidate shall be able to understand the customer requirements from specifications and relative standards.
Should have knowledge of various types of International Standards like IEC & IEEE related to MV GIS/AIS, Instrument transformers etc.
Requirements
- Experience: (10+ years) in the field of Medium Voltage switchgear R&D & design
- Qualification: BE / B. Tech / Mechanical or Electrical
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
- Knowledge of basic computer software like Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
- Proficient in 2D CAD and 3D modelling in Solid works, Autodesk Inventor, Solid edge or equivalent 3D software. Solid works preferable (Solid works / Solid Edge will be added advantages)
Preferred From Medium Voltage Switchgear.
