Job Description

Responsibilities

Contractor Bill Certification

  • Bill Certification: Quantity validation with appropriate document, and rate to be certified with respect to contract.
  • Material Bill Certification: Checking of Material testing report as per contractor document and as per IS standard.
  • Documentation of Certified bills and Quantity: The central QS team will also keep record site claim data of each RA Bill, amendment, MTC, BRD etc. and maintain it in soft copy hard copy as well.
  • Estimation and Costing: Quantity calculation from GFC as per standard IS code, candidate should have virtuous knowledge of IS standard, NBC codes, CPWD etc and all codes for measurements.
  • Measurements: Variance Report with reasons attributable to Billing Errors.
  • Other Miscellaneous Actions: Rate Analysis data base creation,
  • Review of all variances and Project closure report,
  • Value engineering support Associated Central quantity surveying Activities
  • Prepare Certified Billing versus Claim bill quantity and get it uploaded in DCC, if applicable
  • Prepare amendments revision bullet point for reason behind quantity increment / Rate variation, Extra items, Time Extensions etc.
  • Facilitate closure of contractor Bills /Amendment within given time slot and take necessary actions.
  • Maintain tracking recodes of contractor work done and authenticate it by site visits.
  • Prepare contract document as per stated protocols & standard templates.
  • Maintain the Certified Bills and Amendment document for future reference as per defined document management policy.
  • Maintain record of the Advance Bank Guarantee/ Contract Performance Bank Guarantee (ABG/ CPBG)/ Customs related documents from vendor as per requirements. Data management
  • Prepare contract document as per stated protocols & standard templates.
  • Maintain the Certified Bills and Amendment document for future reference as per defined document management policy.
  • Assist in collation of data related to quantity surveying activities (e.g. Material Reconciliation, Debit and Recovery, Liquidity damages etc.

Qualifications

Education

  • Full time B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electrical engineering/Mechanical Engineering .

General Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of the overall function involved in MEP works with technical specification.
  • Involvement in design coordination, DBR analysis, Tendering (BOQ`s, detailed quantity backup, technical specification, tender drawings), shop drawings, design, and project queries.
  • Knowledge of all equipped with technical feasibility and risks associated with projects MEP works.
