About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy Deputy Manager – Talent Acquisition to lead volume hiring across frontline and support functions for Hong's Kitchen & Popeyes. This role will drive large-scale recruitment campaigns, ensure fast turnaround time (TAT), and deliver consistent hiring quality across locations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands bulk hiring dynamics, and can manage multiple positions simultaneously while ensuring a strong candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Volume Hiring & Recruitment Delivery
- Drive high-volume hiring for frontline and junior-to-mid level roles across functions such as Operations, Customer Service, Kitchen Staff, Supply Chain and Support functions
- Manage large number of open roles across multiple locations within defined TAT and productivity benchmarks
- Execute mass sourcing strategies including job portals, walk-ins, campus drives, vendor partnerships, job fairs and social media hiring
- Build and maintain ready talent pipelines for ongoing and seasonal hiring needs
- Ensure quick turnaround from sourcing to onboarding with high joining ratios
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Partner with Business Heads, Store Managers and HRBPs to understand manpower requirements and hiring plans
- Coordinate with vendors, staffing agencies and consultants for bulk hiring needs
- Ensure alignment on hiring targets, timelines and workforce planning
- Deliver consistent hiring experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders
Process Excellence & Governance
- Ensure adherence to hiring SLAs, bulk hiring processes and selection criteria
- Maintain accurate data in ATS/HRMS and track hiring metrics like TAT, conversion ratio, cost per hire and drop-offs
- Drive offer rollout, negotiation and onboarding coordination for large batches
- Standardize interview and selection processes for efficiency and scale
- Monitor and improve hiring productivity and quality metrics
Employer Branding & Talent Engagement
- Organize and drive walk-in drives, campus hiring and local hiring campaigns
- Strengthen employer brand through local outreach, social media and hiring events
- Engage candidates through pre-joining connects to improve joining ratios
- Build talent pools for recurring high-volume roles
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of Talent Acquisition experience
- Mandatory experience in volume / bulk hiring (retail, QSR, FMCG, hospitality, BPO or similar industries preferred)
Required Skills
- Strong experience in high-volume recruitment and mass hiring strategies
- Ability to manage multiple roles and locations simultaneously
- Expertise in vendor management and walk-in/campus hiring
- Strong stakeholder management and execution focus
- Data-driven approach to hiring metrics and process improvement
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Retail, QSR, FMCG, Hospitality or Consumer businesses
- Familiarity with ATS platforms, job portals and hiring analytics
- Strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills
