About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Cell Process to drive process excellence, technology integration, efficiency improvement, and quality enhancement in solar cell manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SOPs, WIs, PFDs, MQP, SPC, RMR and ISO documentation.
- Analyze electrical and process parameters using SPC, MS Excel and Minitab.
- Plan and execute DOE and process experiments and prepare technical reports.
- Drive New Process Integration (NPI) for PERC and Bifacial technologies.
- Develop and optimize processes for PERC, Bifacial, TOPCon and Selective Emitter technologies.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Project and Utility teams.
- Monitor and improve solar cell efficiency, quality, yield and process stability.
- Work with process laboratory equipment such as 4PP, Reflectometer, Lifetime, SUN-VOC and EL Testing.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Train operators, GETs and engineers on solar cell technology, process control, SPC, 5S and safety.
Candidate Profile
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in Solar Cell Manufacturing is mandatory.
- B.Tech in Electrical / Chemical / Renewable Energy or related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience in solar cell process engineering/manufacturing.
- Experience with PERC / Bifacial / TOPCon technologies preferred.
- Good knowledge of SPC, DOE, process optimization and data analysis.
- Strong cross-functional coordination and problem-solving skills.
