Job Summary : Monitoring suspicious transactions and enhancing due diligence for high-risk investors. Handling end to end PMLA matters in consultation with Reporting line and PMLA committee.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with PMLA 2002, SEBI AML/CFT guidelines, FIU-IND reporting norms, and internal AML policies.
- Maintain and update AML/CFT policies, procedures, and KYC standards, including CKYC, KRA, ODD, and periodic reviews.
- Monitor investor transactions, identify red flags, and ensure timely filing of STRs/NTRs with FIU-IND.
- Act as the key liaison with FIU-IND, SEBI, AMFI, and support audits, inspections, and regulatory queries.
- Drive AML awareness, FATF compliance, and UBO/NPO requirements; provide AML training across teams and distributors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and support system enhancements, risk assessments, and AML control integration.
Skills & Knowledge
- Well aware of the KYC norms, PMLA guidelines and the relevant regulatory framework, more specifically SEBI master circular.
- Strong understanding of KYC, PMLA, and SEBI AML/CFT requirements.
- Sharp analytical and investigative skills with AML tool experience.
- Strong STR/CTR documentation and reporting capability.
- High integrity and effective coordination with internal teams and regulators.
Qualification : MBA/Post-graduate in Commerce, Finance, Law, or related field.
Additional Certification: Certification in AML, Compliance, or related domain (preferred).
Preferred Candidate : Professional from an Asset Management Company (AMC) background.
