Job Description

Responsible for managing the complete people agenda for all Sales channels (Agency, Bancassurance, Direct etc.) in the region. Needs to develop the HR strategy and ensure effective implementation. In this role will need to develop and maintain a team of competent employees, create a high performance and positive work culture; develop the succession planning road map; manage improvement in Employee Satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent acquisition
  • Develop the sourcing plan and deploy recruitment plan
  • Optimize source mix and hiring cost
  • Ensuring hiring within agreed TAT
  • On-boarding & Induction
  • Pre-Joining & Post Joining Formalities
  • Performance Management
  • Coordinate the implementation of Performance management processes for the channel
  • Assist the Zonal Business heads in making promotion decisions
  • Identify critical positions & suitable candidates for development
  • Oversee implementation of annual performance appraisal process
  • HR Operations
  • Provide feedback on processes & enhancements required in order to ensure alignment of HR processes with business objectives
  • Ensure alignment with all statutory requirements
  • Employee Relations
  • Monitor investigation and action taken on Employee Grievances / Disciplinary issues, violation of ethical norms
  • Provide coaching & counselling for the region, in order to build a motivated team; and ensure smooth & cordial relations.
  • Exit Management
  • Exit Interview with an effort to retain talent
  • Full and final settlement

Required qualifications and experience:

Qualifications:

Management Graduate preferably from HR background.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 8 years of relevant HRBP experience
  • Experience in handling Regional HR Role
  • Experience in insurance/BFSI industry preferred
