Deputy Manager / Manager - Land Acquisition

Role & responsibilities

• Supervising overall management of land acquisition and property sourcing matters encompassing sourcing & site visits, research and all matters pertaining to land acquisition.
• Handle procedures for getting Government (Revenue) land forest land on lease for wind farm purpose
• Engage in Identification and suitability of locations for the upcoming projects.
• Negotiation with private landowners through broker, obtaining title clearance, land measurement through DILR, execution of sale deeds, obtaining permission to purchase agriculture land for bonafied industrial use, lay out plan approval from Town Planning department, conversion of agriculture land for non-agriculture use, mutation entry in revenue records and other land related formalities
• Overseeing completion of registration formalities with the Offices of Sub Registrar as well as drafting documents e.g. MOU, deed of conveyance, affidavits and declarations etc.
• Involved in fraud verification & proceedings for recovery (Purely Negotiation Basis) and fraud detection policy.
• Attend to various Courts, all kinds of legal matters relating to Civil, Criminal, Land, Labor, Liaising with various departments of Central and State.
• Engaged in conciliation proceedings before Asst. & Deputy labor commissioner.
• Liaising with external agencies, architects, consultants for determining technical specifications & with statutory bodies for approvals & obtaining on-time clearances. Working on proposals and contracts aimed at developing external contracts. Work in close coordination with the Project & Operations teams on the budgets, Value Engineer the designs & taking it to over stage to projects.
