About the Comp

Unicommerce is looking for a dynamic HR professional who brings strong execution capability, business understanding, and a problem-solving mindset. This role is designed for someone who can partner closely with business teams, leverage data and insights, and contribute towards building strong people practices in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

The individual will work closely with business leaders and employees across functions and play an important role in strengthening talent management, organization effectiveness, employee engagement, and overall people experience.

About the role

This role will report into the Group People & Culture team.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with business teams to understand people challenges and support business priorities.
  • Drive day-to-day HR interventions with a strong solution-oriented approach.
  • Support managers on employee lifecycle management, team effectiveness, and people-related decisions.
  • Ensure strong stakeholder coordination and timely execution of HR initiatives.

Talent Management & Capability Building

  • Support identification of talent gaps and workforce requirements across teams.
  • Drive performance management and talent review processes.
  • Contribute towards learning, capability-building, and career development initiatives.
  • Support succession planning and internal talent development efforts.

Data & Analytics

  • Track and analyze key HR metrics including attrition, hiring, productivity, engagement, and performance trends.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and actionable insights to support business reviews and decision-making.
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend people interventions and improvements.

Organisation Development & Employee Experience

  • Support organization development initiatives across culture, engagement, communication, and effectiveness.
  • Partner on employee engagement initiatives and action planning.
  • Help drive a collaborative, high-performance, and high-accountability culture.
  • Support change management and process improvement initiatives.

HR Operations & Governance

  • Ensure smooth execution of key HR processes and policies.
  • Maintain process discipline and governance across assigned business teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to ensure seamless employee experience.

Preferred Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, or Generalist HR roles.
  • Experience in startups, internet businesses, SaaS, or high-growth environments will be preferred.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or related field preferred.
