Role Overview
We are looking for a GeM-savvy professional who can independently manage and optimize our presence on the Government e-Marketplace platform, ensuring smooth operations and revenue growth from government business.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of GeM portal operations
- Product listing, catalog creation, and technical product uploads
- Creation and management of product links, bid participation & L1 price strategy
- Handling direct purchase, bids, reverse auctions, and BOQ-based tenders
- Ensuring compliance with GeM policies, documentation, and approvals
- Coordination with internal sales and technical teams for accurate listings
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes for higher conversions and order value
- Tracking competitors, pricing trends, and optimizing listings accordingly
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 25 years of hands-on experience in GeM operations (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of bidding, L1 logic, RA, and product categorization
- Experience in laboratory, industrial, scientific, or technical product segments preferred
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and convert them into effective listings
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and coordination skills
