About the Role

We are looking for a high-calibre DM- Investor Relations to support the Investor Relations function of a leading listed healthcare company. The role will work closely with senior management across IR, Finance, Business, Strategy and M&A and will be responsible for financial analysis, investor communication, business insights and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations & Reporting

  • Support the quarterly results and investor communication process, including investor presentations, earnings releases, FAQs and management talking points.
  • Analyse quarterly performance against previous periods, budgets, guidance and peers.
  • Support earnings calls, analyst/investor meetings and conferences.
  • Track analyst coverage, consensus estimates and investor/analyst feedback.

Financial & Business Analysis

  • Analyse key financial and operating metrics
  • Develop financial models, business cases, scenario and sensitivity analyses using advanced Excel.
  • Analyse performance across hospitals/business units, geographies and specialties.
  • Track industry trends, competitors and key business drivers.

Peer & Investor Analysis

  • Conduct regular analysis of listed peers, industry trends and valuation metrics.
  • Benchmark peers on revenue growth, margins, ROCE, occupancy, ARPOB, capacity additions, valuation multiples, expansion plans and capital allocation.
  • Prepare investor/analyst meeting briefs and management talking points.

M&A / Corporate Development

  • Support M&A and strategic initiatives through valuation, financial modelling, due diligence, transaction and synergy analysis.
  • Develop business models and financial projections for acquisitions, investments and expansion opportunities.
  • Support preparation of investment committee and management presentations.

Candidate Profile

Education

  • MBA/PGDM – Finance from a reputed institution or CA.
  • CFA or additional financial qualification will be an advantage.

Experience

  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Corporate Strategy or M&A
  • Experience with a listed company strongly preferred.
  • Healthcare/hospital sector experience will be an advantage.

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, business fundamentals and valuation.
  • Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to understand business models and identify key value drivers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership and ability to manage tight quarterly reporting timelines.
