Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, psu/private banks and other large investors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering personalized advice and executing their trading strategies.
  • Provide clients with market insights, trading ideas, and updates on market trends.
  • Trade Execution:
  • Execute client orders in equity and derivatives markets efficiently while ensuring best execution practices from ODIN and Bloomberg.
  • Monitor trading activity and ensure that client orders are executed accurately and on time.
  • Advise clients on market liquidity, trade strategies, and pricing.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Provide clients with up-to-date market information, economic reports, and technical analysis to assist in decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the research team to understand market conditions and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
  • Ensure all trading activities adhere to internal risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant market regulations and compliance standards.
  • Business Development:
  • Develop new institutional client relationships and identify new sales opportunities within the institutional segment.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to grow the firm's institutional client base and revenue.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal trading desks, research teams, and other departments to ensure clients receive the best service possible.
  • Provide feedback on client needs, product offerings, and market conditions to internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Master's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in institutional sales trading, ideally at a broking firm or investment bank.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
  • Proven track record of managing institutional client relationships and executing trades efficiently.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand market trends.
  • High level of proficiency with trading platforms, financial software, and market data tools.
  • Knowledge of risk management practices and regulatory compliance.
