Role Description The Deputy Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Supaul. The Deputy Manager will oversee branch operations, ensure adherence to company policies, and support the achievement of business targets and portfolio quality. Responsibilities include managing a team, guiding staff on customer service and loan processing, monitoring collections, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The role also involves engaging with local communities, identifying potential customers, and promoting IIFL Samasta's financial products responsibly. The Deputy Manager will coordinate with regional leadership, contribute to process improvements, and help implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

- Candidates should possess operational and process management skills, including branch administration, documentation, and compliance handling.
- Candidates should possess customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse communities.
- Candidates should possess basic financial and analytical skills, including understanding of lending products, risk awareness, and data interpretation.
- Candidates should possess technology skills relevant to financial services, such as proficiency in digital tools, mobile applications, and MS Office.
- Relevant experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services, particularly in rural or semi-urban markets, is highly beneficial.
- A graduate degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Supaul, travel locally as required, and communicate in local languages as well as basic English will be an advantage.
