Responsibilities

Job Scope:

The Deputy Manager - HR will serve as a strategic partner to the business, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring legal compliance, and managing relationships with external partners and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic HR partner to business units by aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives.
• Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle including onboarding, performance monitoring, contract management, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESI, gratuity, labour laws, contract labour regulations, and applicable state acts.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate organizational risks related to labour and HR issues.
• Collaborate with line managers on manpower planning, talent acquisition, and workforce deployment strategies.
• Lead and coordinate HR audits, inspections, and labour office interactions.
• Deliver impactful presentations to senior leadership on HR metrics, workforce trends, and compliance reports.
• Promote a per formance-driven culture by supporting performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
• Address and resolve employee grievances in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and vendor records.

Requirements

Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in Third-Party Logistics (3PL) or Manufacturing sectors.

Qualification: Any UG/PG Degree.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong expertise in vendor management and statutory compliance.
• Knowledge of labour laws.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships across functions and with external stakeholders.
• High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
