Role: Infra and RE (Renewable Energy) Equipment & services procurement
Designation: Deputy Manager
Roles & Responsibility
- Work as a part of Global Procurement team reporting to Category lead for all procurement under infra and RE category.
- Ownership of partner Onboarding and Contract Management (SOW, MSA, NDA, Commercial Agreements & similar legal & subcontracting agreements)
- Responsible for identifying partners, floating RFI/RFP, arranging bidding, negotiating terms and conditions for supply of required product as per SOW defined by user.
- To ensure closure of all commercials transaction/partner finalization as per HCL procurement Policy.
- To benchmark commercials against current market trends and earlier purchase transactions.
- Facilitate communication with/between partners, users and other stakeholders for technical discussions and partner evaluation.
- Ensure approval notes for partner selection are prepared with supporting documentation and signed as per DOA.
- To ensure that partner's product abides by all environmental safety awareness and compliances.
- To negotiate on Renewable Energy transactions with energy suppliers and renewable energy developers.
- Track new requests received on daily basis to ensure timely action and its closure.
- To prepare MIS and ageing report on periodic basis.
- To conduct spend analysis to identify cost saving and partner consolidation opportunities.
- Follow up with the vendors to ensure timely delivery of material. Levy penalty in case of delays.
- Maintain proper documentation for receipt of quotes, proposals, cost analysis sheets, partner technical evaluation, management approval etc. from compliance point of view.
- Handle periodic audit queries on transaction closed and provide data/reply in response.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualification & Experience
- Should have a minimum qualification of Graduation/BE, Post-graduation in management/supply chain management is desirable.
- Should have prior experience in IT Industry.
- Should be well acquainted with infra and RE equipment & material. i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, civil, interiors, Solar panels etc.
- Should have good knowledge about rates, database of vendors, market trends related to Infra and RE Procurement
- Should be well-versed in vendor management & development
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SAP, Ariba.
- Familiar with energy markets and its financial evaluation models, policies, local regulatory compliances across India landscape.
