Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Deputy Manager - Marketing at Hamdard Foods India. The Deputy Manager will oversee multiple marketing operations and contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in executing and coordinating day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring smooth workflow across stakeholders, agencies, and cross-functional teams. This role demands strong vendor management, analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with stringent timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Operations & Coordination
Oversee daily marketing activities and ensure smooth operational execution.
Coordinate with internal teams, sales, procurement, and finance for project alignment and approvals.
Ensure timely delivery of assigned projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Vendor & Agency Management
Manage external vendors and creative/media agencies, including briefing, evaluation, timelines, and feedback.
Handle quotations, negotiations, billings, invoicing, and documentation compliance with finance and procurement teams.
Marketing Collateral & Branding
Lead development and execution of brand collaterals such as POSM, brochures, digital creatives, promotional materials, and on-ground assets.
Support packaging development from concept to execution, coordinating with design and production teams.
Marketing Campaign Execution
Assist in planning and executing BTL/ATL campaigns, trade promotions, activations, and marketing calendar.
Provide on-ground support to sales team for brand visibility and execution tracking.
Research & Competitive Intelligence
Conduct and maintain category/competition tracking including price, promotions, packaging, and market dynamics.
Share insights and recommendations based on analysis.
Digital & Social Media
Oversee social media planning, content review, coordination with digital agencies, and performance tracking.
Reporting & Analysis
Analyse sales performance, campaign effectiveness, and market trends to support decision-making.
Prepare monthly/quarterly business reviews, dashboards, and executive presentations.
Skills & Competencies
Strong project and time management skills with ability to multitask and deliver to deadlines.
Proven ability in vendor coordination, negotiation, budgeting, and documentation handling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.
Deep understanding of FMCG marketing ecosystem including trade, packaging, BTL, and sales alignment.
Hands-on experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and marketing automation/digital platforms.
Preferred Background
78+ years of relevant marketing experience in reputed FMCG or Food & Beverage companies.
Proven track record of managing end-to-end marketing operations and agency relationships.
Experience in trade & BTL marketing, packaging development, and digital marketing will be preferred.
