About the Role:
As a Deputy Manager in our Indirect Tax team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving GST compliance, advisory, and strategy for our clients. Your responsibilities will span GST audits, compliance, advisory services, and fostering strong client relationships to deliver exceptional value.
Key Responsibilities:
- GST Compliance & Filing:
- Ensure timely compliance with GST filings, assessments, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare, file, and process GST returns and refunds accurately.
- Advisory & Consulting:
- Provide GST advisory services across industries, addressing technical queries and compliance challenges.
- Assist in the implementation of GST strategies to optimize tax incidence and cash flow benefits.
- Audits & Assessments:
- Conduct GST audits and support internal and external audits.
- Handle GST-related audits, investigations, and liaise with tax authorities.
- Research & Analysis:
- Perform in-depth research on GST laws and regulations to provide strategic insights.
- Benchmark GST practices against industry standards to recommend improvements.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless GST compliance and reporting.
- Address queries related to GST returns and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Mentor and guide junior team members in GST processes and compliance practices.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-5 years of experience in Indirect Taxation.
