Job Purpose:
The Sourcing Services Specialist will support Regional and Global Sourcing Teams by executing transactional procurement activities throughout the Sourcing Life Cycle, with a strong focus on digital platforms, process efficiency, and data accuracy. This role plays a key part in enabling sourcing excellence, driving process standardization and automation, and maintaining accurate supplier and contract records within the digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing Operations Support
- Facilitate data collection and specifications for sourcing events (RFx).
- Launch and manage RFx and eAuctions using SSP SRM platform.
- Communicate with suppliers during RFx/eRA events for clarifications and follow-ups.
- Support the disengagement process for non-compliant or obsolete suppliers.
- Generate award letters and negotiation outputs for supplier communications.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SSP SRM, MDG, PRISM, Tableau, etc.
Supplier Lifecycle Management
- Manage supplier onboarding and offboarding activities through MDG.
- Maintain and update supplier information to ensure clean data and system accuracy.
- Ensure suppliers are correctly categorized and managed within digital sourcing tools.
Contract Administration
- Support contract lifecycle management, including creation, execution, and digital storage.
- Ensure contracts are properly linked to spend data and tracked for coverage and compliance.
- Drive the migration of offline contracts into the digital platform to enhance transparency.
Data & Process Management
- Drive process standardization and automation for improved sourcing operations.
- Support ad hoc and recurring data analysis and spend reporting using digital tools.
- Maintain a high level of data quality across all procurement platforms and systems.
- Develop standard templates for RFx and eAuction events aligned with category strategies.
Cross-functional and Strategic Initiatives
- Collaborate with global sourcing teams to support cybersecurity, data protection, and supplier performance initiatives.
- Lead or participate in global process improvement initiatives and best practice sharing.
- Assist in the preparation of internal/external business reviews and executive reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
- 23 years of experience in shared services or procurement operations.
- Strong working knowledge of digital procurement tools: SAP (SSP SRM), MDG, PRISM, Tableau.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is an advantage.
- Strong customer orientation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and high data quality standards.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional and international teams.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in supplier relationship management, contract management, and RFx execution.
- Prior involvement in digital transformation or process automation in procurement.
- Knowledge of shared service center operations or global sourcing hubs.
