Responsibilities
ESG Risk Assessment and Management:
Identify, assess, and manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks associated with pipeline projects.
Conduct comprehensive ESG risk assessments to understand potential impacts and implement mitigation strategies to avoid negative effects on the environment and communities.
Environmental Impact Monitoring And Mitigation
Monitor and manage the environmental impacts of pipeline projects, including tracking emissions, resource use, and ecological disturbances.
Implement measures to minimize negative environmental effects and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Social Impact Assessment And Community Engagement
Assess and manage the social impacts of pipeline projects, focusing on community relations and stakeholder engagement.
Address community concerns, promote positive social outcomes, and enhance the company's social license to operate by fostering positive community relationships.
ESG Compliance And Reporting
Ensure compliance with ESG regulations and standards for pipeline projects.
Compile data, prepare reports, and communicate ESG performance to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner, enhancing credibility and building trust.
Continuous Improvement And Best Practices Implementation
Drive continuous improvement in ESG practices and implement industry best practices for pipeline projects.
Stay updated on ESG trends, identify improvement opportunities, and lead initiatives to enhance ESG performance.
Advocacy And Regulatory Compliance
Drive ESG advocacy in key areas within the pipeline sector, including participation in industry groups and regulatory bodies.
Conduct policy gap assessments, develop/revise ESG policies, and track implementation. Ensure alignment with TCFD & TNFD recommendations and conduct external ESG audits.

Masters in environmental engineering/sciences/management
