Deputy Manager-EHSServes as the executor of EHS activities, ensuring compliance and coordination across departments. Key responsibilities include managing EHS projects, overseeing safety training, and maintaining regulatory documentationJob Description
- Executing EHS related projects with planning, supervising & execution.
- Execution of short and long-term EHS objectives and goals with EHS improvement plan.
- Ensures, maintains all compliance of EHS.
- Implementing, and managing technical performance of EHS related activities.
- Conductingaudits, identification of corrective action, preventive action, and its closure.
- EHSrelatedpromotional activities like safety week, Environment Day & other campaign.
- PrepareEHS related reports in hard & electronic form as per timeline
- Collaborates with senior site management implement EHS program(s) to ensure compliance
- Promotes workplace safety, and assists in the development, maintenance, and management of EHS programs at the site(s), including proactive incident management, industrial hygiene contractor safety, and hazardous waste management
- Completes all statutory regulatory reporting requirements (GPCB, factory inspector)
- Managecentral &contractor Safety Committee, fire drill, mock drill.
- Manageall differentEHS programs, conduct training and manage related documentation,
- Manage & perform quarterly safety walks through survey, cross function EHS audit with department leaders
- Manageinduction,toolbox & refresherEHS internal & external training.
- Managedisposal of hazardouswaste as per GPCB compliance.
- Efficient operation of ETP as per GPCB & CETP requirement.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
- Prepareandimplement site SOP's
- To assist EHS head for audit preparation such as Customer Audit and Central EHS Audit
- Maintain records related to EHS and instruments like fire extinguisher, fire hydrant, fire hose box, safety showers, SCBASET and PPE's box. Essential Qualification QUALIFICATION:- Full time BSc or MSc, Post Diploma Industrial Safety / Post Diploma Industrial Environment. EXPERIENCE:-Minimum 6-10 years of previous work experienceFull time
