Position Summary
- Manage the Demand Planning Consensus process for the businesses
- Generate SKU level forecasts to meet the guidance provided by sales, marketing, and finance
- Lead and coordinate the monthly Demand Consensus (monthly through to long range demand planning) for the Business by actively engaging the Marketing and Finance community as key participants in the process.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities throughout the regional Demand Consensus process as well as the S&OP process.
- Provide guidance to the regions on business strategy and inventory levels, recommend
replenishment models and ensure alignment with agreed to business decisions globally.
- Manage the scheduling and inventory control of the assigned product groups
- Ensure the supply of materials meet all requirements and minimum stock levels to ensure production continuity to meet customer demand, production build targets, and finished goods safety stock.
- Focus on process improvements and planning system expertise to facilitate excellent customer service and asset management.
Specific Knowledge / Experiences
- Statistical and forecasting methods
- Supply Chain procedures (Demand/Supply/Production Planning, capacity levelling, product deployment and inventory control)
- Familiarity with an SAP, APO systems and common software applications
- S&OP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Minimum of 3 years demand or supply planning experience required.
- Good communication skill in English
