We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with 8+ yrs total data centre experience, with 5-6 years of expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, and data center infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will combine technical proficiency with strong leadership, team management, and collaboration skills to ensure the successful execution of projects and the optimization of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Virtualization Technologies:
Design, implement, and manage virtualization solutions using VMware, Nutanix, and other platforms.
Optimize virtualization environments for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Conduct regular updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system integrity.
Data Center Infrastructure Management
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of data center hardware and software.
Monitor data center operations to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization.
Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to protect critical data and systems.
Collaboration And Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with business goals.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
Continuous Improvement And Innovation
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in virtualization and data center technologies.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.
Conduct regular performance assessments and recommend system enhancements.
