We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Deputy Manager - Cost Accounting to oversee product
costing, cost analysis, and financial control processes. The role involves monitoring cost structures,
identifying inefficiencies, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate cost data and
reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed product cost sheets and perform Bill of Materials (BOM) costing.
- Analyze standard costs versus actual costs and investigate variances with actionable insights.
- Monitor and ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished
- Ensure proper absorption of factory overheads and track overall production costs.
- Identify cost inefficiencies and recommend effective cost optimization and reduction measures.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and monitoring.
- Prepare cost-related MIS reports, profitability analysis, and departmental cost reports for

Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems such as Tally.
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CMA / CMA Inter (preferred) along with B.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
