About the Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on Corporate Tax, International Tax Services, and Transaction Tax Services including the applicability of tax under section 195 and compliance thereof. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that handles transaction taxation, capitalization/repatriation issues, forward planning, reporting, and building strong relationships with income-tax officers.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate tax advisory, tax compliance, tax litigation
  • Assist clients in tax planning and analyzing tax implications in various scenarios
  • Compliance for tax returns, audits, and reporting requirements for corporate and non-corporate clients
  • Tax audit under section 44AB for various corporate clients
  • Advising on applicability of tax under section 195 and compliance thereof
  • Advising clients on transactions from the perspective of tax applicability
  • TDS return filing, tax provision preparation/review
  • Advisory and compliance support on FEMA regulations, including cross-border transactions, foreign investments, and repatriation of funds
  • Assisting in regulatory filings and liaison with RBI/authorities for FEMA-related compliance
  • Stay updated with changes in tax, regulatory, and compliance frameworks.
  • On need basis, support other teams involved in Bookkeeping, MIS Reporting, Company Law Compliances, Statutory Audit procedures, etc.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in taxation at Manager level

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Tech-savvy with good knowledge of MS Excel & Word
