Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead GST compliance, indirect taxation, commercial operations, and reporting functions. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate GST filings, statutory compliance, reconciliations, tax audits, invoicing processes, and commercial MIS reporting while coordinating with internal departments and external authorities.

Key Responsibilities

. Oversee GST compliance, including monthly and annual return filings.
. Ensure timely reconciliation of GST returns with accounting records and resolve discrepancies.
. Manage GST liability accounting, tax payments, and GST portal reconciliations.
. Review sales and purchase transactions before GST return filing.
. Handle customs duty and IGST accounting related to imports.
. Monitor exchange rate updates and maintain HSN-wise tax data.
. Supervise e-invoicing, e-way bills, sales returns, and related statutory documentation.
. Coordinate with government departments, auditors, and regulatory authorities for GST-related matters.
. Lead GST audits and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
. Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports related to sales, GST, refunds, and compliance.
. Track and manage pending dispatches, billing issues, and customer returns.
. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth commercial operations.
. Monitor vendor GST compliance and maintain vendor reconciliation records.
. Ensure accurate reporting of inter-unit transactions and statutory records.

Key Requirement

. Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field CA/ICWA/MBA Finance preferred.
. 8+ years of experience in GST, indirect taxation, commercial operations, or finance functions.
. Strong knowledge of GST laws, return filing, reconciliations, audits, and compliance.
. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and GST portals.
. Understanding of import/export taxation, customs duty, and e-invoicing processes.

. Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
. Experience in manufacturing industry will be preferred.
. Ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional coordination.
