Job Summary
Chandigarh University is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager Admissions (Inside Sales) with a strong EdTech background to lead, mentor, and drive performance of Admission Counsellors and Team Leaders. The role is revenue-focused and responsible for achieving enrollment targets through structured inside sales operations, process optimization, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Sales Performance
- Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets through inside sales channels
- Drive lead-to-enrollment conversion strategies to maximize admissions and revenue
- Monitor sales funnels, conversion ratios, and counselor productivity
- Develop action plans to improve underperforming metrics
Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and mentor a team of Team Leaders and Admission Counsellors
- Conduct regular performance reviews, one-on-ones, and sales coaching sessions
- Set daily/weekly targets and ensure accountability across teams
- Ensure effective utilization of CRM systems for lead management and reporting
- Optimize calling strategies, scripts, and follow-up processes
- Maintain discipline in call quality, data hygiene, and reporting
- Coordinate with marketing for lead quality and campaign performance
Strategy & Process Improvement
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and EdTech best practices
- Implement scalable sales processes and SOPs for admission counseling
- Collaborate with academic, finance, and operations teams for smooth enrollment closure
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a bridge between senior management and sales teams
- Ensure high student and parent satisfaction during the admission journey
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline
- 58 years of experience in EdTech / Education Inside Sales, with at least 3+ years in a team leadership role
- Proven track record of achieving revenue and enrollment targets
- Strong exposure to CRM-driven inside sales environments
