Job Description

Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a proactive and analytical Deputy Manager - Category Plant Supply. This role is crucial for managing both category and supply operations, ensuring product availability, optimizing costs, and achieving financial targets. The ideal candidate will be adept at budget management, price negotiation with suppliers, data analysis, and coordinating effectively with plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Category & Supply Management: Oversee and manage comprehensive category and supply operations.
  • Budgeting & Strategy: Draw annual budgets for assigned categories. Identify and execute strategies to achieve top-line and bottom-line targets of assigned categories.
  • Price Negotiation: Conduct effective price negotiation with plant suppliers to optimize costs and secure favorable terms.
  • Reporting & ERP Operations: Prepare various MIS (Management Information System) reports on stock and supply. Perform other essential ERP operations work related to category and supply.
  • Plant Coordination: Maintain strong coordination with the Plant to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Market Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze data and insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
  • Demand & Inventory Management: Conduct demand forecasting and manage order placement to ensure optimal product availability and minimize stockouts.
