Job Summary
The Deputy Manager Counseling Department will be responsible for managing a team of admission counselors, driving student enrollments, ensuring effective counseling processes, and achieving admission targets. The role involves team leadership, performance monitoring, student engagement, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of admission counselors
- Allocate leads and ensure timely follow-ups and conversions
- Conduct daily briefings, reviews, and performance tracking
- Train new counselors on admission processes, programs, and soft skills
Admissions & Counseling Operations
- Handle student and parent counseling (walk-ins, telephonic, virtual)
- Ensure accurate information sharing regarding courses, eligibility, fees, and scholarships
- Monitor lead lifecycle from inquiry to enrollment
- Ensure adherence to admission policies and university guidelines
Target & Performance Management
- Achieve individual and team admission targets
- Analyze daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports
- Identify gaps in conversion and implement corrective actions
- Support management in forecasting and planning admission cycles
Process Improvement & Coordination
- Improve counseling scripts, conversion strategies, and workflows
- Coordinate with marketing, CRM, and academic departments
- Ensure CRM data accuracy and timely updates
- Handle escalations, objections, and critical cases professionally
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and share performance reports with senior management
- Maintain documentation and compliance related to admissions
- Ensure ethical counseling practices and student satisfaction
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate
- Experience: 8 years in admission counseling or education sales
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years handling a team
- Industry Preference: Universities / Colleges / EdTech

Working Days - 6 Days
Salary - 70,000/- to 75,000/- (in-hand)
