- Deputy Lead - Industrial Engineering
Position Summary
The Industrial engineer is responsible for design of jigs/fixture, layout preparation, capex expenditure activity, Problem solving for process/activity, Tool/equipment selection etc.
To be successful as an industrial engineer you should be able to cost effective design of jigs/fixture, capex item selection and comparison, supports to improvement/problem solving activity and layout preparation.
Work You'll Do
- Capex Expenditure activity
- Search for source.
- Estimate expense/cost and payback analysis.
- Prepare technical comparison.
- Design of Jigs / Fixture
- Understand the application.
- Design the jigs/fixtures.
- Prepare engineering drawing / specification.
- Layout preparation
- Accumulate data and analyze.
- Select machine/material handling/workstation etc. for layout preparation.
- Layout preparation
- Problem solving/Improvement project & activities for assembly shop, testing, store, and paint shop.
- Collect data of current process/condition
- Analyze the data.
- Develop and provide the innovative solutions.
- Tool/Equipment selection for assembly shop, testing, store, paint shop etc.
- Search for source.
- Compare the tools/ equipment with process/requirement.
- Prepare technical comparison.
Team
This position will be part of Industrial engineering department at Ahmedabad, India.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 5 years or more experience in Industrial engineering
- 5 years or more experience in an engineering field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of using AutoCAD, Creo and ERP
- Team player with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
