Job Description

  • Assist the Head of Department in overseeing and coordinating the development of the branch's corporate banking business.
  • Assist the Head of Department in formulating and implementing the department's annual development plan in line with the branch's strategic objectives. Lead department staff in marketing, expanding, and maintaining corporate client relationships enhance corporate banking service capabilities increase market influence strengthen product innovation and grow and strengthen the corporate banking business.
  • Assist the Head of Department in achieving the targets and performance objectives assigned by the Head Office and branch. Identify target markets, capture business development opportunities, expand the customer base and project pipeline, organize the marketing of the Bank's integrated products and services, and improve profitability.
  • Assist the Head of Department in carrying out departmental management responsibilities, including developing and implementing relevant policies and procedures, strengthening team development and management, overseeing personnel management within the department, and enhancing the cohesion and execution capabilities of the corporate banking team.
  • Assist the Head of Department in coordinating and leveraging group-wide business resources to expand corporate banking, cross-border business cooperation, and offshore RMB business, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of the corporate banking franchise.
  • Assist the Head of Department in overseeing departmental compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), risk control, and risk management. Proactively implement a forward-looking risk management approach and safeguard asset quality.
  • Complete other daily departmental duties and assignments delegated by management.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor Degree holder with at least 10 years working experience in in corporate banking or international settlement and trade finance, in a managerial position in charge of a team/department in the recent years. Candidates with experience in both areas will be preferred.
  2. Thorough knowledge of corporate banking products and processes, or international settlement and trade finance products and processes. Demonstrated strengths in business development and marketing, with the ability to prepare various credit assessment reports, industry and market research reports, and work summaries.
  3. Strong team management, risk management and control, cross-cultural communication, and organizational and coordination skills.
  4. Strong written communication skills and proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to draft internal documents, policies, procedures, and reports for submission to Head Office, as well as to collaborate effectively locally and with Head Office.
