Deputy General Manager - Quality Control

RAIN Cements is seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to lead and oversee the Quality Control .

Job description:

Rain Cements, a Forty-year-old company headquartered in Hyderabad and known for manufacturing and marketing Priya Cement, is looking for an experienced DGM – Quality Control for ensuring collaborate with senior management team to set quality benchmarks in accordance with industry standards and customer expectation etc in co-ordination with key departments of the organization, located at our cement units i.e. capacity expansion brownfield project at its plant in Unit 1: Ramapuram, Mellacheruvu (M), Suryapet (D), Telangana and Unit.2. Nandyal Dist., A.P.

To be successful as DGM – Quality Control, you must be Collaborate with the senior management to set quality benchmarks in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations. Ensuring that production quality control processes are implemented in line with agreed upon you must possess excellent project analytical and problem-solving skills as well as communication and interpersonal skills. We are seeking a project leader with significant experience in site management, and contractors management, at our Cement units.

Responsibilities:

• Hand-on work experience in NABL and full exposure of quality standards, ISO, TQM, OSHA, EMP, EIA and EHS management.
• Liaise with process control operatives with regards to the quality control parameters for Semi – finished (Raw meal and Clinker) and final products.
• Ensure full compliance To BIS specifications for OPC & PPC cement, and ISO 9001 specifications for quality management.
• Best quality cement should be made as per the requirement of customers & with the availability of raw materials and minimizes the cot – effective.
• Leading and guiding quality related aspects at the plant site.
• Raw Mix design preparation as per the kiln behaviors to develop best production and good quality cement.
• Carry out different trails related to Research & Development for development of new products related to cement & Concrete.
• Implementing quality management systems, quality plans, and controls to achieve plant objectives.
• Planning and ensuring desired quantity and quality of limestone on the basis of different raw mix design and on different fuel consumption.
• Oversee the inspection of raw materials, such as limestone, Laterite, coal, pet coke, Gypsum, Fly Ash and others to ensure they meet required specifications and are fit for usage in the process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B. Tech/B. E in Chemical, B.Sc in Chemistry, MS/M.Sc (Science) in Chemistry, M.Tech in Chemical
• 20 – 25 years of proven experience in any large manufacturing industry.
• Aged between 40 to 50 years.
• Maintain relationship with external stakeholders like BIS / NCBM etc.
• Leading and guiding quality related aspects as the plant site.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and SAP.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Fluency in Telugu and English
