Job Purpose: The role is responsible for assisting in planning, executing, and maintaining civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with standards and timely completion within budget. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, maintaining quality and safety, and managing documentation to support successful project delivery and ongoing maintenance.
Responsibilities
Preconstruction Support:
Assist in preparing project BOQs, proposals, and budget estimates specific to civil engineering.
Collaborate with central ERC team to support and provide inputs in the preparation of detailed civil drawings and tender documents.
Document all changes to project specifications, work scope, and drawings related to civil components.
Maintain accurate records and ISO documentation for civil engineering aspects.
Project Execution
Supervise and manage daytoday civil fieldwork, ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate and execute internal civil projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
Conduct site inspections to monitor construction productivity and quality, including concrete works, earthworks, and structural integrity.
Collaborate with Site QAorQC team to ensure all civil materials meet quality standards and are tested appropriately, adhering to ASTM and IS codes.
Operations And Maintenance
Assist in planning and budgeting for annual civil maintenance jobs.
Monitor and coordinate civil maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance with safety standards.
Conduct inspections and quality checks on civil maintenance works, including roadworks, drainage systems, and building repairs.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure all work adheres to ISO procedures.
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal departments to ensure smooth project progress.
Participate in contractor meetings to plan and schedule civil activities.
Address and resolve any issues arising during project execution and maintenance.
Enforce company safety standards and promote a safety culture onsite, ensuring compliance with project quality plans and ISO standards.
Digitalization And Tech Initiatives
Support the effective daily use of digital tools and resolve any technical issues.
Conduct training sessions to ensure team members are proficient with digital tools.
Monitor how digital tools impact project performance and report findings to the Project Construction Lead.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural design, materials science.
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
15+ years of experience in civil engineering with significant experience in construction and infrastructure development such as roads, drainage systems, foundations and structural works or in large-scale construction or mining projects including infrastructure development and site preparation.
