Job Purpose: Asset Lead - Techno Commercial is responsible for translating BU-wide Techno-Commercial strategies into effective execution across airport sites by leading sourcing, contracting, logistics, and vendor performance activities. The role ensures timely and cost-efficient procurement of airport-specific CapEx, OpEx, and services, supports operational continuity, enhances commercial controls, and drives process improvements and digital adoption while managing teams and enabling capability development at the site or cluster level.
Responsibilities
Techno-Commercial Planning & Implementation:
Translate BU-wide Techno-Commercial strategies into actionable plans for airport sites and clusters.
Ensure alignment of site-level processes with BU governance, aviation regulations, and operational needs.
Category Planning & Strategic Sourcing Execution
Develop category strategies for airport procurement (terminal systems, airside equipment, ICT, utilities, services).
Lead sourcing cycles including vendor evaluation, commercial bid analysis, and recommendation notes as per DoA.
Contract Development & Lifecycle Management
Draft and refine contracts, rate agreements, and service-level frameworks for site-specific CapEx/OpEx procurements.
Ensure contractual adherence, renewals, variations, and compliance monitoring for assigned categories.
Vendor Engagement & Performance Management
Drive approved vendor engagement models and manage performance evaluation for site and cluster-level vendors.
Identify and evaluate new vendors/contractors relevant to airport asset requirements.
Conduct capability assessments, technical/commercial qualification checks, and recommend onboarding to BU Head.
Ensure supplier performance frameworks incorporate ESG parameters such as safety compliance, environmental responsibility, ethical labor practices, and sustainability metrics.
Implement BU-defined standard vendor lists across PTB, Cargo, Fuel Farm, Runways, Ancillary Buildings, and Airport Systems.
Ensure uniform application of qualification standards, documentation, and performance criteria at all assigned airport assets.
Logistics & Inventory Oversight
Coordinate logistics planning for inbound airport equipment, ensuring customs clearance, documentation, and timely delivery.
Oversee inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, asset tagging, and disposal recommendations.
Implement ESG-aligned logistics practices including route optimization, reduction of emissions, green handling processes, and waste-minimized packaging.
Data Analytics, Reporting & Value Improvement
Analyze procurement, logistics, and consumption data to identify cost-saving opportunities, efficiency improvements, and risk flags.
Prepare dashboards, category insights, and performance reports for BU leadership.
Team Leadership & Capability Enablement
Lead techno-commercial teams across airport sites, ensuring goal-setting, performance reviews, and skill development.
Promote collaborative, safe, and compliant working practices within the techno-commercial function..

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Urban Planning / Land Management / Geography / Law.
Preferred
Master's in Urban Planning / MBA / Infrastructure Management.
Work Experience
10-15 years of overall experience.
Minimum 5–8 years in techno-commercial, procurement, or contracting roles in airport operations, airport development projects, EPC, MEP, or infrastructure sectors.
Experience in strategic sourcing, contract drafting, logistics coordination, and vendor performance management.
Hands-on exposure to airport systems procurement, IT/ICT procurement, utilities, and O&M contracting preferred.
Experience leading teams at multiple sites or a cluster level.
