Job Description :

The role entails strategising and leading all finance and accounts related activities in the zoneincluding analytics, financial reporting, deal structuring, vendor management, compliances, taxation, audits, account closure, and balance sheet preparation. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

Strategy and leadership

Lead all zonal finance & accounting functions

Partner with business teams for new deal structuring (commercial, tax, legal aspects)

Lead profitability analysis and financial reviews

Drive tax structuring, commercial contracts, risk and benefit analysis

Finance Operations

Supervise monthly/quarterly processes for revenue, expenses, billing and cash flow

Manage trial balance, P&L, cost accounting reports, and book closures

Ensure real-time, accurate SAP-based accounting

Ensure proper revenue recognition and fixed asset accounting

Taxation and Audit

Act as tax advisor; verify service tax compliance

Manage WCT and service tax payments in collaboration with consultants

Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns

Interface with auditors and handle queries effectively

MIS and analytics

Deliver accurate MIS and analytics (weekly, monthly, quarterly)

Analyse revenue/cost trends to improve margins

Compliance and reporting

Ensure compliance with internal accounting standards and regulatory norms

Strategise and prepare balance sheets for JV partnership companies

Stakeholder Management

Internal:

Collaborate with project and marketing teams to optimise cost and improve APR

Coordinate with HO Finance for fund transfers and JV payouts

External:

Liaise with contractors, consultants, banks, auditors, and JV partners for finance operations

Process Improvement

Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings
