Deputy General Manager- Finance & Taxation with 16-20 years of working exp
Location: Andheri,Mumbai.
Preff. candidates from Freight Forwarding / Logistics / Shipping only.
Salary Rs. 22-25 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and regulatory filings (TDS, GST).
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, including VVIP accounts and overseas transactions.
- Maintain internal controls, data confidentiality, and financial compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors and handle statutory audits and tax returns.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounting processes including month/year-end closing, budgeting, treasury, and fixed assets.
- Oversee Foreign remittances and transactions of overseas offices.
- Finalising accounts to manage balance sheets & Profit/ Loss statements.
- Independently filing of GST Returns - GSTR 3B, GSTR 1, ITC – 04, GSTR9 for all three group companies. • Checking & Reconciliation of GSTR 2A, Co-ordination with vendor/ supplier to reconcile GSTR2A mismatch • Reply to GST Scrutiny notices. Keep tracker of refund received & pending refund on Shipping Bill. Eway bill reconciliation with Liability paid in GSTR3B vs Liability as per Eway bill's generated. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. Support budget and forecasting activities. Prepare P&L and Budget vs Actual on monthly basis. • Presentation of P&L and Budget vs Actual to Managing Director. • Prepare different P&L for different department. (HR, Marketing, Distribution, CRM). P&L presentation to respective department. • Assisting CA in finalization of balance sheet.
Key Requirements:
- Experience:
- 12 to 16 years of experience in the industry or industry-related sectors.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years in a senior management or leadership role.
- Total work experience 18 - 22 years.
- Qualifications:
- CA/ICWA/MBA or Bachelor's degree equivalent qualification preferred.
